Manhattan Vintage Show, Spring 2012

This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Manhattan Vintage Show, a two-day shopping event that features vintage fashions from over 90 vendors across the country! I could scarcely contain my excitement. Every time I turned a corner, I saw something amazing and let out various ooh's, ah's, and oh-my-god's. A couple times, I was completely overcome with awe and squealed (see above: pink dress with rhinestone-adorned paisley embroidery!). Essentially, this event is nothing short of a vintage lover's paradise, and if you have the opportunity to catch the next one, don't think about it, just GO, and bask in the wonder that is booth after booth of the most incredible vintage you've ever seen!

Playing with the Unexpected at Artifaktori Vintage-- A Collaboration with Causeway Road

Welcome Nicolle to the 'Faktori Family & Welcome Pin-up Dresses Galore!

Hello All, I wanted to take a moment to introduce our loyal readers to Miss Nicolle Saylor who has recently joined the team. If you live in Boston, then you have seen Nicolle around town in one of her high-low fashion looks. She works as a model, and as a fashion stylist, blogger, and photographer. We are thrilled to bring her enthusiasm and her skills (especially her Photoshop skills) on board. Today, despite the chilly gray weather we decided to run outside and shoot Nicolle in one of the PinUp Couture dresses that just arrived-- the Heidi Dress in Black Pin Dot. With the season five premiere of Mad Men quickly approaching, we've been preparing for Sunday's much anticipated 2-hour episode by dressing up our mannequins in all our favorite mid-sixties looks!
